Tourism, the arts and Kentucky heritage are the focus of our cabinet. Tourism development encompasses the creation of new attractions and accommodations, the expansion of existing tourism venues, convention and conference marketing and the development of sports venues. We encourage and support market development for our artists, the revitalization of historic downtowns, the expansion of equine headquarters and the enhancement of recreational opportunities. Additionally, we aim to attract international trade shows and sporting events, as well as to expand museums and special exhibits. All these activities contribute to the economic success of Kentucky.​
